Happy New Year from your committee!

It’s the end of 2022, and we’d like to thank each and every one of you again for your unwavering commitment during this past year to our campaign to save the White Horse.

This wonderful support has come from not only the Stonesfield community but also from our friends around the world. Many of you may already have seen the fantastic Facebook post from Eric Strauss, his family and friends in Virginia recently, which echoes the sentiments of us all.

We can all look back on a memorable and active year of campaigning and fundraising, including packed public update meetings, the relaunch of the share offer, and many successful events including a hugely popular mini beer festival.

Throughout all of this the committee have been active and vigilant in monitoring and responding to developments regarding the future of the pub. You can be assured that this resolve remains as strong as ever and we look forward to bringing you further news updates throughout 2023.

Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your commitment to acquiring the White Horse for the benefit of the whole community. We look forward to that day, and in the meantime wish you a peaceful and happy New Year.
